
Bryan Stopak (he/him) is an east coast based theatrical force blending choreographic storytelling and cinematic stagecraft into work that hits. From the creative pulse of DC and New York City to Philadelphia’s experimental arts scene, Bryan has earned a BFA in Directing, Playwriting, and Production Design from The University of the Arts.
A director, choreographer, designer, technician, playwright, and performer, Bryan has built a reputation for creating visually electric productions across the regional theatre scene.
Recent credits include Little Miss Perfect, Senior Class, and Too Wong Foo at Olney Theatre Center; Aesops Fables, Percy Jackson The Musical, Dragons Love Tacos, Frosty the Snowman, and Not Your Mother’s Goose at Adventure Theatre MTC; Mean Girls, A Chorus Line, and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at Toby’s Dinner Theatre. Bryan was a featured choreographer at the Capital Fringe Festival for LIFE! A Comedic Opera in Three Acts.
Beyond the stage, Bryan is shaping the next generation of artists as the Head of Teen Programming at Adventure Theatre MTC, while continuing to collaborate with schools and arts organizations across the DC metro area as a director, designer, and choreographer.
In 2021, Bryan developed and workshoped an original Lady Gaga jukebox musical at The University of the Arts.
