Bryan Stopak (he/him) is a multi-talented artist based in the DC Metro Area. His creative journey has taken him from the vibrant arts scene of New York City to the artistic hub of Philadelphia, where he earned his BFA in Directing from The University of The Arts.

 

Currently, Bryan serves as the Associate Artistic Director at Ovations Theatre, where he brings his expertise to the stage. With a diverse skill set as a Choreographer, Designer, Director, Playwright, and Performer, Bryan has left his mark on the regional theater scene. Notable productions include All Shook Up, Godspell, Chicago, Catch Me If You Can (Act Two @ Levine), and West Side Story (Summer Dinner Theatre). Bryan was also a featured choreographer in the Capital Fringe Festival for “LIFE! A comedic opera in three acts.”

 

Beyond the stage, Bryan's creative influence extends to the educational realm, as he has worked with numerous MCPS schools as a Choreographer, Designer, and Director. His passion for storytelling also led him to develop a Lady Gaga Jukebox Musical, which underwent a workshop at The University of The Arts in 2021.

 

Currently, Bryan is channeling his dedication as a Pom coach at Magruder High School and is at the helm of Disney's The Little Mermaid production at Ovations Theatre. Follow his artistic journey on Instagram @BrySto for a glimpse into his world of creativity and performance.
